Hi, Malossi manifolds won`t work as they are for single carbs. The inlet manifolds of the 750 and 900 carb engines (no matter if SS, Monster) are slightely different. The length is about the same, but the angle when mounted and the angle of the bend are different. If you put a 750 and a 900 inlet si...

4 relays are a little bit much as one or two should be sufficient. There`re lots of stronger coils beginning from Accel, Andrews, DynaCoils, Silent Hektik etc. Beware that they don`t have less than 3 ohms resistance. The Silent-Hektik coils which are amongst the strongest do have a bit less and are ...

I use a simple Bitubo shock. Can`t say anything bad about it. It was the cheapest replacement i found a couple of years ago. For me it is a little bit to hard, but the spring tension is easily adjustible. The only "problem" with this shock is that the rebound adjustment lever is on the bot...

Tony, you say "the internals, however swap from 87-93 ss, monster, paso/ 5 speeds" To my knowledge this is not totally correct. SS had dryclutch with slave piston in the clutch cover I think only in 91. So in later models the clutch (basket, core etc.) is different. The SS/Monster cylinder...

John,

check out the Haynes stuff in the download section if you want to kow how to adjust the timing.
It`s not for the Paso but the engines of Monster/SS are about the same.

the answer might appear pretty stupid, but try to ask your Duc dealer. In the last list I have seen they were all still available.

Hi, if you switch tires AVON may be a choice. 130/70-16 AV45 AZARO front 180/60-16 AM23 rear There`s a company in Germany offering this conversion. Chain and sprockets need to be changed to 520. Side and center stand lengthened and front fender raised. I know this shop uses Avons. The types above ar...

Mike, won`t work. Side panels from 906 and 750 are different. With some modifications the complete front incl. side fairings can be switched from 750 to 906 and vice versa. The main difference are the openings of the side coolers. Their size is different so this would need some work to make it fit. ...

Carl, if it`s the key switch you can gently open it. Beware that there might be a small metal ball and a spring which get lost very fast. Usually if there`re some contact problems inside the switch some plastic gets hot, burns and builds up deposists which either make it hard to turn the key or crea...
