Re: Any Reason not to buy this?
Thanks for that G, it is has some odd aftermarket throttle grip/tube on it, a few of these bikes ex. Japan bikes have had a light fall or brush up against something or other so not that worried about that part of it, the point I take on board particularly is the bringing back up to spec when ready t...

Re: fuel pump, rough running.
That does sound like some type of fuel starvation, my Sport would have the odd miss and cough at trackdays when the tank was getting low on fuel, even though it had the fuel pump, put it down to surge in the tank under hard braking and acceleration, and the pickup in the tank sucking air i/o fuel. I...

Re: fuel pump, rough running.
Have a search through ducinthebay (Phil) posts he has been running gravity feed for a fair while with no issues I can remember being posted about, the other thing is that if it was running fine, then started acting up could be a raft of reasons as you have written, some rubbish in the tank, bad fuel...

Re: 750 Paso for Sale
Don't be to shocked. In that sort of nick, 4 to 5K is the going rate here for a really good one which this appears to be, 2 to 3K will get you something that will need that again most likely spent on it, there just aren't that many left in in Oz now in original condition, and the ones that are aren'...

Re: 750 Sport restoration project
I just took a quick look at the beginning of your post and noticed the previous owner wanted to retain the original mufflers. I'm not sure if you already know, but Ian Gowanloch has about 100 brand new sets.Cheers That's interesting, I was also under the impression they were unobtainium, so that wa...

Re: 750 Sport restoration project
Your more than welcome Andrew  Looking at the pictures the rear mounting bolts on the seat unit aren't fitted yet, and assume the 2 long one's you have left over would go there. There should be well nuts on the inside of the frame, which if you have the unit off and on enough give up the gh...

Re: 750 Sport restoration project
Andrew,
The thick rubber washers are for the front lower mounts on the seat units, and act as a spacer as well.
No. 26 in the picture, 1 each side, mine had perished so made up up new ones.
Cheers

Re: 750 Sport restoration project
Hey Andrew, Meant to be 2 of these rubber blocks there towards the front, and the tank just lightly rests on them, think you can get away with out them if need's be but always looks like somethings missing to someone who knows the bikes. edit: just realized mine never had the rear ones looking at th...
