Re: Possible new owner
Buy a Paso or any other Ducati. I recently bought a Ducati (750 Sport). I had never owned a Ducati before, but I have found mine a pleasure to work on and ride. After looking at the list of motorcycles you have owned, you will have no problems with a Ducati.

speedometer light
The speedometer light and the light socket were missing from the 1990 750 Sport that I recently purchased. I was able to get a replacement socket and bulb from egauges.com. http://www.egauges.com http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo348/Maico88/speedolight1.jpg http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo3...

Re: odometer question
Thanks! I looked at the right side bracket, and I can see where something had been installed there. I guess that I will see if I can make a cable assembly.

odometer question
The odometer on the 750 Sport I recently aquired works fine. However, whatever is supposed to reset it is partly missing. The odometer can be reset using a pair of needle nose pliers. I don't know what is missing. Does the sport have a knob, or is there some kind of cable attached to the speedometer...

Re: New Ducati
Thanks for the tip. I have not yet attempted to change the bearings yet. I adjusted them and it seems to be ok. I talked to the shop where the former owner had the bike serviced. The shop said that some modifications had been made to install upside down forks and 17" wheels. (removed before I p...
