G'day Mike, she looks real nice and clean. Welcome to the site. Looks like you've got a 906 seat on it. If you can, source a 907...they are more comfortable. Ian Gowanloch had some NOS (new old stock) seats but don't know if any left. Vinyl is old on them but they have been kept well. A bit of vinyl...

Looks excellent
When a run gets made, put me down for one regardless of cost. Thanks for your efforts Rudiger and Higgy.

Re: 750 Sport restoration project
Mate, Metalgear makes a nice stainless steel rotor for our wheels. No more rusty rotors. Really well priced too. Find 'em on eBay. I've just done my bike front and back coz I was sick of the rust. Got some nice sintered pads from them as well. So glad I did.
Trust me, it's well worth it.

Re: Tubeless valve stems
I was told by the tyre shop that the right angled ones didn't fit as they weren't long enough for our rims  So, for a few dollars, I bought a brass right-angled adaptor valve-extension to screw on when checking tyre pressures. He had some on the counter. I keep it under the seat. Works mint. :t...

Re: The story so far

Best part...after two weeks sitting under a cover out in the weather at the airport...no rust messing up my white r...
