Re: 907 bursts into flames.
Geez Francesco, nerves of steel  I think, if it happened to me, I would point it towards the bush and give it a big shove! Then I would ring the wife and get her to come pick me up... Insurance is a wonderful thing... It's good that you saved a paso from death though  I don't k...

Re: 907 bursts into flames.
I saved my red 907 from flames. The rectifier caught fire. I wonder if the same thing happened to that 907 :,( Ciao was the bike running at the time or stopped? ...just contemplating on the usefulness of a battery isolator switch :dunno: In hindsight I wish I bought that one. It was advertised for ...

Re: First Ride
I would'nt be worried about the clutch noise. As you said, it's the same of you old Monster and it's a Ducati dry clutch treat. On both my 907s, I have the clutch covers drilled. So the rattle of clutch is more noisy    You must to worry only if the clutch is slippery. Def...

Re: Butchered swingarm
Hey Mc Tool,
you well remember!
By now, I need to remove, take it out, take apart, dismount etc. etc. both the swingarm bearings and the fuel filter.
Really, I would have preferred to replace the fuel filter only

Re: Butchered swingarm
Hi Persempre, when the bearings spin/move as intended I would leave them in place. the same counts for the wheelbearings, as these faced the axial load during the damaging to the swingarm. lock-wiring the nuts is an option, although not strictly necessary as the original nuts are mechanical selfret...

Re: Butchered swingarm
Many thanks, I guess the only problem was the nuts unbolt. In fact, I found all the nuts not well screwed on the carrier sprocket. So, I will lock them with the wire to avoid they will go unbolt again. Do you think I don't need to replace the swingarm bearings? If yes, how can I remove the bearings ...

Butchered swingarm
Yesterday, a nut of the rear sprocket was unbolt on my black 907
I need to fix that damned stuff. Luckily, I have got a spare swingarm.
Any advice?
Do the bearings need to be replaced or can I use the old ones again?
What kind of bearings?
Many thanks in advance.

 Beautiful! What sort of motor? And what year of manufacture? Horizontal engine, four strokes, four gears, 192 cc., 5 kw and 85 km/ top speed. The year of manufacture would be 1960. Very fun ride, even if he does'nt brake!!! He slackens... The first times, I put the feet on the floor to slow ...

You'll certainly get good advice from knowledgeable enthusiasts and it won't cost you a penny/dime/cent/ peso(paso?) /etc.    British homour?
