What's HU?
What picture?
I'm assuming 'timing marks for belt change' is the answer to your question, if you mean these.

Re: Starter motor question.
Ah thanks for the info on the cables Derek, I was a bit confused there.
I'm having issues posting the pics, but at least we've got it all covered now so I don't need to.

You'll likely charge yourself a darn sight less than they'll likely charge you too.fasterdammit wrote:I'm half of a mind to let my local shop take care of it, but I'm pretty sure I've spent more time with my hands up my Paso's skirt then they have collectively, of any Paso.

Re: Starter motor question.
Derek the case and the starter motor are the same on the Paso 750 motor, except they've made an extra hole in the case, and tapped an extra thread in the starter motor (4 holes and threads, 3 screws) just maybe 10mm to 12mm above your pesky screw. There's 4 holes in the 750 pinion, 2 of which, 180 d...

Re: Beautiful Paso with a broken engine case... what do I do
No. The speedo on both bikes is driven from the front wheel But the Paso 750 front wheel is 16 inch and the Monster front wheel is 17 inch, so you'd have to use a speedo off one of the 17 inch wheel bikes. and the tacho drive from the horizontal camshaft. I fitted ST2 heads and barrels to my 907 bu...

Sorry of course, we're on the 907 section. I wasn't thinking.Tamburinifan wrote:It fits 907.
I realise now that the 907 has the 851 style rear suspension rather than the arrangement on the 750 and 906.
Silly me - apologies all round : )
