How do you find the HID light Derek ?
I've always been put off by the moving mirror thing in the H4 ones.

907 Front Sprocket
Hi Guys Quick question. Which of these front sprockets is correct. The old one is more offset outwards with the sprocket face to the outside. The new one has the sprocket more central with a boss either side. The reason I ask is that the old sprocket has signs of wear on the outer face implying that...

Re: Battery standby life
Finally got around to rewiring my clock today. I'd bought a little mini-switch from Maplins which I was going to mount on the dash panel opposite the trip knob but decided to rejig the wiring under the seat instead. Quite glad I did as the 4 (yes four !) green & black wires jumped straight out o...

Re: UK Paso and 750 Sport Owners Rally 2014 - European Frien
Hi Stiv I'm Derek's pal from Galloway. I'd certainly be interested in a paso event but like my Northern chum it all depends on location & timing. We're all busy people after all. Personally I don't like camping. Just so you know. May is busy as is September. On the up side in the last 2 years I ...

Well I've owned the bike from new & it's never had a dust cover.
Maybe the later models did without ?

Re: Battery standby life
Just to draw this thing to a close it turns out my expensive Odyssey battery had died. It was sent back to the seller for testing & although it would take & hold a charge it couldn't output enough power to start a bike. Unfortunately buried in the Odyssey guarantee small print is a specific ...

Ignition Switch Strip
I've got an intermittent glitch in my ignition switch which occasionally kills the power. Usually when I hit a bump at low speed. Jiggling the key remakes the connection & we're off again. I'd like to strip & clean the switch before it gets any worse. Can anyone tell me if it is easy to sepa...

Re: Battery standby life
Well here's a funny thing. Hooked up the Optimate & disconnected the earth lead. A few days later the battery reads 12.9 volts on my cheapo meter so I switch off the charger & wander off. Today I hooked the earth lead back up, checked the voltage & it's as flat as a pancake again despite...
