Re: ignitech
The Ignijet2007, as you can see from the pic, is fitted with connectors for the IAW5.9 and IAW5M ECU as fitted to my ST4s and most of the most 2001 on Ducatis until the Seimens ECUs on the latest bikes. Now with the right connectors I would imagine that it should be possible to fit it using the sens...

The Supersports up until 1997 are also the same.

Every 12,000 miles (20,000km) or 2 years, whichever comes first. Here I am replying to my own posts now! :) Having said the above, a schedule which I've stuck to with my ST4s since buying it at 2 years old with 1,000 miles on it (it now has over 40,000), the previous owner of the 907 changed the be...

Re: Left engine cover removal
The cover screws are M6 and the thread in the end of the crank is M8. Instead of an engine turning tool you can fit an M8 screw with a locknut to the end of the crank and use it for turning the engine with a spanner, easy if the spark plugs are removed. Very useful when fitting new belts etc.

Re: Need Air Sensors
Could also be a faulty water temperature sensor. These are a well known failure point on the ST2/4 and it looks like the same part on the 907. If it doesn't respond to the increase on coolant temperature the ECU thinks the engine is still cold and provides a correspondingly rich mixture. The sensor ...

Re: damaged rockers
Rocker failure on 2 valve Ducatis is very unusual. Can't say the same for the 4 valve Desmoquattros though. Doing a service on an ST4s with 20,000 miles on it yesterday and found 2 openers with flaking chrome.

Re: ST 2 CAMS???
And how to connect the tachometer cable? Or do you have a electronic Instrument? I was told, only last week, by a friend who is working on a 900SS project bike that the worm gear on the camshaft is simply an interference fit. So it could presumably be removed from the 907 camshaft and transferred t...

They should fit straight in but you will need to completely re-shim all the clearances.

Re: Prototypes
That picture can be seen in Alan Cathcart's "Ducati - The Untold Story", featuring factory racers, prototypes and specials. Published by Osprey in 1987. Cagiva commissioned Massimo Tamburini to design a new frame for the 1000 Mille engine and that's what he came up with. Although a prelimi...

I don't know but I think the seller is being a bit optimistic with the asking price.

Re: 750 Sport restoration project
The inlet rubbers look just like the ones from the carbed SS models. I don't know if they are the same but it's worth a look.
