Re: stripping paint
I was told by may painter to use "aircraft" stripper.
I have bought this but have yet to use it:
http://www.amazon.com/GAR343-KLEAN-STRI ... B004Y1KX9E
I'm NOT stripping Paso bodywork but F1 bodywork which look like it's more of a hand lay up of fiberglass mat.

Re: capacity engine
I don't think there is a mathematic ratio between power, rpms and torque. On the dyno, the shape of the curves are often very different between power and torque. My 1098R has the max torque at 8.200 rpms and the max power at 10.500 rpms. Never dynoed my Paso. Pretty curious about the result, even i...

Re: capacity engine
Race engines measure hours not miles! I have an 87-F1 with some slight performance mods and it's very perky. Quite fun to ride too. But 90hp from a Paso engine will be extremely expensive and no fun on the street. Just as an example of what can be done to an air cooled twin, I have built a monster m...

Re: Got a paso!
Congrats! A lovely bike and you must ride it....frequently. Service is important. Belts first thing unless he can show you a receipt for replacement. Doings belts is a 1 hour job, once the body work is off. If you need help, just shout! Clean all grounds very well. Clean, clean, clean. There are man...
