Re: Who watches 'True Detective' ?
Couldn't get to see Series 2 T.D. because only on payview channels afaik. Download 'em off the bay for free or download TVMC version of KODI for free and then stream 'em for free. http://www.tvaddons.ag/tvmc-cordcutters/ It's the hottest thing since Chicken Vindaloo. Thanks for the link - will try ...

Re: mikuni running rich..
as said somewhere above it's worth not only confirming that you have original needles (operated via diaphragms) but that you also have original return springs (not the weaker Dynojet versions) plus the equivalent jets for above needles aren't worn (usually becoming oval instead of round on inspectio...

Re: Torque setting for clutch plate screws?
Hope I caught you in time - I don't know which bike you have, but you hinted at the best approach as these screws are a candidate for overtightening and the threads on the 6 posts are often close to being stripped. Using a torque wrench at such low figures is questionable even if it's a high quality...

Re: Valve Advice on my 1990 900SS
agree ^ valve seat change is drastic and often the head is never quite the same unless done carefully. If the seats aren't recessed badly or damaged then it's pointless changing them.

Re: Ignitech Sparker TCIP4 ignition?
Glocast, I never understood your comment on why we go in for so much repetition? We keep reading and asking until we understand. If you don't like it, why read it? I do also understand why you don't hang out here much. I don't either. Some of the personalities here are a bit too caustic, hiding beh...

Re: Ignitech Sparker TCIP4 ignition?
only just picked this up Mr Higgy - my cryptic comment 5 posts up had nothing to do with moderators but was referring to posts that followed mine.. And for the record, much as I have come to 'tolerate' your jottings and even like some of them, the 'we are all newbies at some point in time' gets a 10...

Re: UK Paso and 750 Sport Owners Rally 2014 - European Frien
as before Stiv, will follow developments. Just bear in mind it does take one person to take the reins here and it can be a thankless task I understand but once you have thrashed out a date and a venue I can't see why this can't actually happen this time. I have set up car meetings single-handedly my...

Re: stripping paint
repair depends on the extent of the damage. 2 part epoxy for small issues. Fiberglass mat for large areas that are missing..and everything in between Have you personally repaired with conventional fibreglass and resin and if so, how long ago and has repair been a success with no signs of separating...

as fester says, sadly it's only the crankcases that are universal clutch-wise here.

Re: stripping paint
I would be interested to hear what most of you think about the best way to go about repairing our fibreglass panels as there seems to be a few conflicting opinions. I logically thought a lay-up with fresh fibreglass was the answer (and I remember helping repair fibreglass dingies in this manner) but...
