Ducati 907 i.e. (1993), 35,000 km, Dutch registration.
For sale: Ducati 907 i.e. (1993), 35,000 km, Dutch registration. I have owned this bike for almost 20 years and it has always been stored in a dry garage. The motorcycle is in good overall condition with normal signs of use for its age and retains its original character. It is fitted with period-cor...

Hey Janky59, thanks very much for the detailed description. That is what I needed. It came off fine, but the 2 clips where not there.

Re: fuel filter replacement
Look in the manuals in Tech FAQ. Thanks Gert for the quick reply, but I couldn't find details except figures and exploded view in the 907 workshop manual, owners manual or part catalog. Can the fuel filter/pump/degaser assy be pulled out straight away or do I have to first disconnect something? Tha...

Re: the are two sensors on the air box...
I was lucky and picked one up cheap - they're about $500 from Ducati. It is the same unit from a Peugeot. already quite a long time that you did post this. I found this in the Netherlands. Could it be the right one? It looks the same as from the 907. It should fit Peugeot models, but also Fiat, Alp...

Re: 907 spark plug wires
Thanks for the suggestions. Seems not too difficult But the plugs cannot be separated from the cable. So the most important question is: Are the leads just copper type? Carbon type? The resistance of the leads plus plugs is 800 Ohms for both.

Re: rear chain tension
Mc Tool, thank you for your extensive explanation!
Will check again if my new chain meets specifications. It is a AFAM 520 XSR specified for Ducati 907 and others, the broken one was the same size from DID

907 spark plug wires
The wires on my 907 need to be replaced after more than 18 years. They are not the original ones, the text reads "Fiat Lancia CAVIS 400 CLASSE B", but it seems that these are also no longer available. What are good replacement wires, preferably in Europe?

rear chain tension
Just fitted new chain and sprockets, the old chain was broken partially. Had luck that I saw it just in time. But now completely confused how the rear chain tension should be set :banghead: 1) The workshop manual says there should be a person sitting on rear part of the saddle, the owners manual say...

Hi Paso750, are you Dutch? Thanks, that are the places to go, but not in the neighborhood. Do you have experience yourself with these guys.
Does anyone have experience with De Jong in Alphen aan de Rijn or Motortoer in Amsterdam?
