Re: Fork upgrade 40mm MR1BB
Hi Bleen I posted this here on Paso forum about 3 years ago: Since this post have raced the bike appox 6-7 times a year and the forks are brilliant. Definitely the best upgrade to the forks. Full adjustment for the M1BB I have raced my 750 sport in post classic for approx 5 years in NZ with just the...

Re: Marzocchi M1R front fork - emulators (Race Tech)
I think you better off doing this for the M1Rs. I posted this in the 750 Sport discussion. I have raced my 750 sport in post classic for approx 5 years in NZ with just the standard forks and finally found a system that makes them fully adjustable!!! At my last meeting I meet Glyn Robinson who runs S...

Full Adjustment for your M1BB forks!!
I have raced my 750 sport in post classic for approx 5 years in NZ with just the standard forks and finally found a system that makes them fully adjustable!!! At my last meeting I meet Glyn Robinson who runs Sports Motorcycles now here in NZ. he showed me his creation of valves and components for M1...

Re: update on my black 750sport racer
Hi Willem so good to see another sport going racing. Real pity we not in the same country so we could have 2 sports racing classics. How does the bike sound with those pipes? Also just out of interest what front brake pads do you use? This last weekend I fitted DP race pads (http://www.dp-brakes.com...

Re: '88 Sport with FCRs start up
Thanks Angelix, good point about the pumps when twisting the throttle. I don't mind the routine though. reminds me of watching F1 cars from the 70's starting up in the pits when I was a kid. of course once it's been run, it starts in an absolute instant. Turned out to be a good weekend. Always nice ...

'88 Sport with FCRs start up
Going racing this weekend, bike's been sitting since mid November. Cool day in Christchurch and those who know, FCRs have no choke - this is what it takes to get her started. Best carbs in the world; once you hear that exhaust note; can't wait for Saturday! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5XFEzomzMI...

Re: 17" front wheel brake issue
Must be the wheel Clive . My 300's have the same 9.6mm offset but my disc's are only 14mm from the inside of the fork and the wheel is 106mm wide ( from disc flange to flange ) :) hi Mc not the wheel. quick measure I got 105mm wide off mine so obviously the same. it's to do with standard M1BB shock...

Re: 17" front wheel brake issue

I did think of that but wasn't too sure if that was an okay thing to do with brakes.
I send him an e-mail and see if they have.

17" front wheel brake issue
Hi All I've been using the original 16" front wheel since owing my sport. About 2 years ago upgraded the brake callipers to the common 40mm spacing Brembo using adaptor brackets from Bevelheavan on the 280mm disc. All fitted good and worked pretty well. So far so good. Finally got hold of a 17&...

Re: 2 more sports are done
Hey Willem can you confirm please; your black sport for the track: are you using the original M1BB forks? are you using the standard 300mm rotors that come off a e.g.. 907 Ducati that have the 9.5mm offset? where did you get the adaptor brackets? thanks Mate, PS any pictures of the bike from your ra...

Hi Phil pipe was made by a local guy for me. he turned the standard headers into a 2-1 and then made the megaphone bit based on F1/TT1 pics from me. sounds really cool at the track. http://i610.photobucket.com/albums/tt188/Mustang506/PBK001_zps94f9c163.jpg http://i610.photobucket.com/albums/tt188/Mu...
