Exhaust Blues
have a set of genuine 750SS exhaust cans. Thought they would fit my bike (had high hopes!). It would appear the 2 into 1 system fitted is a home made job, and a pretty poor one at that. Phuck I say! Option would be to take the bike on a trailer to an exhaust shop and see if they can make it fit. The...

Re: Front axle alignment issue
A head stem stand would be the go. Lesson learnt. The under fork units....hmmmm. found a few bits of wood and used em to set up the calipers, should work fine. The clutch...if it works ok for a bot of riding I'll get Brad to do it when I get it serviced, to make sure it's all ok. Out with the green ...

Re: Front axle alignment issue
Thanks for the reassurance. So i did lift the bike at the rear slightly and juggled the front and got the wheel back on. Those bloody stands move around a lot...nerve wracking. Got the rear on, took a while to get everything to line up. I'll torque it up tommorow....I will probably take the front wh...

Front axle alignment issue
Front axle alignment..guys my front axle doesn't quite line up. The bike is supported front and rear on stands, perhaps the forks are non aligned due to that. Dunno how to fix it. Put the rear on first? Then remove that stand? Have tried lifting the bike slightly with a ratchet strap on the front, j...

Re: Clean/Paint discs?
Cleaned enough I reckon. The anodised coating ends up coming off if I try too hard. Cleaned the muck out from under the sprocket. I'll get the wheels on soon..then the calipers, then the pads and a flush of new fluid. Chipping away.

Re: Missing swing arm jaws
Right, got those bits. Got the carb refurb and a new float, waiting on a gasket for the choke cover. Then that will be all done.

Missing swing arm jaws
Hello All,
Just noticed I dont have the part number 037740065. Swing arm jaws! My axle bolts are directly onto the swingarm.
Could someone measure theirs so I may try and get some made, or if you know of a pair for sale....
CHeers,
Pete

Re: Weber Carb settings
Regarding carb float. Thornbury Carbs recommend the poly plastic float for Ducati's. That's what the bike came with. Deswoodau found the same. Weber Performance didn't know about plastic, as they usually come with brass, so I'd be guided by Thornbury. My carb has been tinkered with I think It has ma...

Re: Weber Carb settings
Hi guys, I will have a chat to Weber Performance, not far from me. A fella who works on these for a living may have some suggestions. I have found and written down a couple of set ups and will see what he thinks of those as well. When I get the bike running I won't use it much as I want Brad to do a...

Clean/Paint discs?
Been trying to get the centre of the discs clean. Brake cleaner and a brush. Anyone know of an easy way? Taking ages to do 1 side of 1 disc, and the brake cleaner makes me feel a bit crook. Also, has any one painted the centre of the disc? The gold anodised finish is not very good anymore and I'm co...

Weber Carb settings
Hello all I've found a a couple of articles, one referred to a swap to a 40 DCNF, I'd rather keep it stock. The other lists: 150 Mains F27 Emulsion Tubes 60 Idle Jets 4.5 Auxiliary Venturies Float at 43mm All double Dutch to me, but the Weber shop will.understand and have the parts. I can have those...

Sport 750 exhaust for RWC
Hi all
I believe in Victoria the RWC process needs an e stamped manufacturer made exhaust. I've got a 2 into 1 fitted and the muffler has no markings. I'm kinda stumped as what to do. A standard may not even fit. Anyone around Melbourne/Frankston got a RHS muffler I could try?
